For Parents
Your Unwavering Support
Is Irreplaceable.
And It Can Be
Augmented with ArtemArc.
Dear Parents -- You continue to serve as your young professional's biggest cheerleader, supporter, friend, "investor", life counselor, caregiver, and so much more (including yeah, the often 'I'll-take-care-of-that-for-you' task master! Come on, we secretly enjoy that!). My wife (Neeta) and I can relate as our son (Kian) graduated from Claremont McKenna College in May 2025, and we are now fully 'empty-nesters;. He did a non-traditional freshman college internship (80 days wilderness leadership), sophomore internship at National Geographic's Impact Investing dept, and junior internship at a finance advisory and M&A firm; he placed post-grad at the M&A firm and now lives in Denver.
You have all these amazing support roles and perhaps also have some knowledge of job searching as a professional in your own pursuits. Yet in career guidance and the job search process (err, 'madness!') you and your young adult(s) often can benefit from an objective and highly-trained partner being side-by-side with you on their professional journey.
At our colleges/universities, as parents we often have invested $XXX,000 in our young adults for career/life success, and I augment and amplify what the Career Services Staff and Professors/Faculty do. I know that because I am currently full-time as a Career Development Coach + Special Faculty at Claremont McKenna College. I can uniquely go deeper to assist your son/daughter because:
--> In the external workplace as prior CEO, COO, President at small, medium, and large companies, I have
personally interviewed, hired, and guided hundreds upon hundreds of professionals across a broad array of functions from sales & marketing to finance to engineering/data science/CompSci to operations to HR.. My hiring also spanned the globe: USA, Canada, UK, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Brazil. I have made hiring-decisions across thousands and thousands of cover letters, resumes, and LinkedIn profiles.
--> Further, in the workplace I have led and mentored indiivudals from interns to senior executives;
hence gaining unique expertise on real career paths, career progressions (and setbacks), and transitions.
--> I have been trained & certified at Right Management, Inc. [largest outplacment career services firm] and served as one of their Career Mgt. Consultants.
--> Importantly, I myself have been in several job, functional, and industry transitions. During which I too was ghosted or rejected in interviews. I understand and directly empathize with my clients, and can directly assist from 'search mindset' to career strategies to the litany of tactics needed to navigate the modern job marketplace.
In short: I augment college career services.
My vast "real world", battle-hardened, senior business operating experiences -- matter.
